About Our Mission

Our Story

Good News of Christ Mission is a Reformed Baptist Church started by Pastor Ameya Chavan in January 2014. The purpose is to plant churches where people will be able to learn and follow sound doctrine in their life. The Gospel is preached to Hindus, Buddhists, Catholics, Muslims.

Ameya Chavan was saved by the Lord in 2006 and left Hinduism. By God's grace, he had served as a deacon for 6 years and later serving as pastor from 2014. His life's mission is to preach the Gospel and the whole counsel of God.

Worship Services

Join us for worship at our church—where we gather each Sunday to hear God’s Word, sing His praises, and grow together in Christ-centered community. All are welcome!

Praise & Worship

Praise and Worship at our church is a time of heartfelt singing, prayer, and joyful reflection centered on God's Word. Whether you're new or visiting, you're warmly invited to join us as we lift our voices together in reverence and gratitude.

Practice Saturdays at 11:00 AM

Bible Study

Join us for Bible Study where we explore God’s Word, grow in our faith, and enjoy fellowship with others. All are welcome, whether you're new to Scripture or a lifelong believer!

Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM

Video Ministry

We produce and edit Bible Study videos that are broadcast on TV and shared on social media across India. These teachings reach people in villages, towns, and cities—bringing the Word of God to both believers and those hearing it for the first time.

We minister to families across Maharashtra and nearby states through prayer, counseling, and the Gospel—having responded to thousands of calls from 2300+ families
